When Aiva Chat approves your website, store and booking page changes

Some accounts' website, product, store and booking page changes are checked by the Aiva Chat team before they go live. See what waits, what stays live meanwhile, and how to withdraw or fix a change.

The Aiva Chat team can check what businesses put in public before it goes live: your website, the words and photos of your products, your store's details and categories, and your booking pages. When this applies to your account, a change waits for the team instead of going live straight away. Visitors keep seeing the version that's live now until it's approved, so nothing breaks while you wait.

If your changes go live as soon as you publish or save, this check doesn't apply to your account and there's nothing to do.

The AI content check still runs first. A change it stops never reaches the Aiva Chat team; you see its reason straight away, as before.

What waits, and what goes live at once

Waits for approvalGoes live at once
Your website's words, sections and new logoUnpublishing your website
A product's name, words and new photosPrices, stock and options' prices
Your store's title, intro, pickup details and returns policyRemoving a photo, hiding or archiving a product
Category namesSwitching the store or selling online on or off
A booking page's title, intro, questions and browser-tab iconEverything else on a booking page (services, lengths, locations, switching it off), and bookings themselves

Customers can always book on a booking page while its new words wait. A new page shows plain wording and the standard icon until it's approved.

Send a change

  • Website: while approval applies, the Publish button reads Send for approval. Once it's sent it reads Sent for approval and the page shows Waiting for approval · sent …. If you edit again, send again to replace the waiting version.
  • Products, store details, categories and booking pages: save as usual. The message after saving says the change goes live once Aiva Chat approves it. In the Store product list the product shows Changes waiting for approval; categories and booking pages show Waiting for approval beside their name.

Your Home page lists changes that are waiting or were sent back, each linking to where you edit it.

Withdraw a change

Open the website, product, store settings, category or booking page and click Withdraw on the waiting notice. The waiting version is taken back; your draft is kept, and visitors keep seeing what's live.

When it's approved or not approved

You get a notification in the bell (and on your phone, if you use the app) and an email.

  • Approved: the change goes live straight away, exactly as you sent it. Anything you edited after sending stays in your draft.
  • Not approved by Aiva Chat: the notice shows the team's reason. Fix what it says, then publish or save again to send it back.

Team members get these notifications for the areas their role can see.
