The dispatcher that picks up while you’re on the job.

AIVA answers your line, asks what’s wrong and how urgent it is, and books the job at the right address — so you can keep your hands on the work, not the phone.

Triage · Booking · Hand-off

Built for a service business’s phone line.

Three jobs that pull you off the tools the most — handled while you’re on the job.

Asks how urgent it is. Then books the slot.

Finds out what’s wrong and how urgent it is, gives urgent jobs the soonest open slot, confirms the service address, and adds the job to your Google Calendar.

Answers from your price list — never guesses.

Services, service area, typical response times and your estimate policy, answered from what you’ve taught it. No firm price it wasn’t given — it says someone will follow up.

Puts the real emergencies through to you.

Can warm-transfer a call to your on-call number. If nobody picks up, it takes a message and creates a task. Every booking gets a text confirmation.

In practice

The questions it already knows.

“Do you cover Oakwood?”

Yes — we cover Oakwood and everywhere within about 20 miles of downtown.

“How much is it just to come out?”

Our call-out fee is $89, and it goes toward the repair if you go ahead.

“Do you take emergency calls at night?”

Yes — I can book the soonest opening now and mark it as urgent for the team.

Home services FAQ

Questions service businesses ask before switching.

It asks what the problem is and how urgent it is before offering a time. Urgent jobs get the soonest open slot and are noted as urgent on the booking; routine jobs get the next convenient one. Describe what counts as urgent for your trade in its knowledge.

Only the prices you’ve added to its knowledge — call-out fees, standard jobs, your estimate policy. It never invents a firm price; if a job needs an estimate, it says so and that someone will follow up.

Set your business hours, then choose an after-hours mode: AIVA keeps answering, or calls go to voicemail. While it’s answering, it can warm-transfer an emergency to an on-call number, and if nobody picks up it takes a message and creates a task so the call isn’t lost.

It books from its own appointment book — the jobs it takes plus any you add in the AIVA dashboard — and writes every booking, reschedule and cancellation to your Google Calendar. It doesn’t read events added directly in Google Calendar, so add those jobs through the dashboard too.

Booking works on calls and website chat. Texts to your number get AI-suggested replies from your business details (or automatic ones, if you turn that on) — good for hours and service-area questions — but SMS can’t book or reschedule.

Yes. AIVA can make outbound calls — one at a time, or as a campaign from a CSV or your contacts — to confirm upcoming jobs. Campaigns skip your do-not-contact list and stay inside an 8 AM–9 PM calling window.
