v2.14.0 adds three things owners asked for most: texting to book, letting the team help without sharing a password, and appointments that don't happen in person.
Booking by text
- Turn on Booking by text for an assistant and the AI answers appointment texts on its own, with the same rules as calls and website chat. It's off until you switch it on.
- Anything else, or anyone who asks for a person, goes to your team as Needs you. A reply from your inbox pauses the AI on that conversation.
- Services that take a deposit get your booking page link instead, so payment stays on the page.
Team members
- Invite people as Admin, Staff or Viewer. Each signs in with their own password; billing and your keys stay with you.
- Staff can be limited to their own bookings, and you can require a sign-in code for your team.
- There's no per-seat charge. Starter includes 2 team members, Growth 5 and Pro 15.
In person, by video or by phone
- Each service says how it happens. Video bookings carry your meeting link in every confirmation and reminder, with an extra reminder 15 minutes before.
- Reports now split bookings into in person, video and phone.
Booking also no longer needs a connected calendar: without one, Aiva Chat books on your hours and its own appointment book.
